Guv, fellow Dems rally for votes on the home stretch

Colorado’s top elected Democrats are joining up to make a last-day lunchtime push to wrangle voters in Denver Tuesday.

At noon, Gov. John Hickenlooper will join with Lt. Gov. Donna Lynne, House Majority Leader Crisanta Duran, Senate Minority Leader Lucia Guzman and a collection of Democratic state legislators at the West Denver Coordinated Campaign Office at 1355 Santa Fe Drive.

The event is part of Democrats’ Stronger Together Get Out the Vote Bus that has been touring the state since last Friday.

The leaders are expected to launch a campaign to canvass at homes where people haven’t returned their ballots.
