Why should voters elect you to office?
I am a daughter of Colorado’s 4th Congressional District, having grown up in Highlands Ranch and Sterling. I’m running to serve the community that raised me. I’ll work to create more opportunities for the people across CD4 to support their families and build their lives in the towns they love, and to give our families and the next generation the best shot at earning a good life and doing better than their parents did.
What is your top priority if elected, and how will it be funded?
My priority is making government work for the people. Through my roles at AFL-CIO and the National Science Foundation, I helped pass an anticipated $13 billion to make Colorado a world leader in renewable energy transmission through the landmark bipartisan Inflation Reduction Act. I’ll work to bring economic opportunity and investment to CD4 so people can gain and retain good jobs, and I’ll fight to protect and expand access to healthcare, especially in rural areas.

Why should the voters elect you to office?
Voters should elect me because I’m a working-class dad who understands the rural/urban divide. With years of political activism and experience lobbying in the state capital and Washington DC, I’ve influenced meaningful legislation. Having overcome adversity, I am committed to listening to all voices and crafting common-sense solutions. I care deeply about our future and will be an empathetic congressman dedicated to representing everyone.
What is your top priority if elected and how will it be funded?
My top priority is making the American dream more attainable. I will slash taxes for working families by implementing a billionaire tax, cutting wasteful government spending, and reducing our defense budget. I’ll expand subsidies for first-time homebuyers and offer federal property tax assistance for seniors. Additionally, I’ll lower healthcare costs by reducing administrative expenses and reduce grocery prices by regulating price gouging and cracking down on corporate influence. This will be funded through the billionaire tax and streamlined spending.

Why should the voters elect you to office?
I’m a retired Marine Corps Officer, Purple Heart recipient, and father of four raising my family in Douglas County. Over the past several years I have held events, shown up, and spent time in every one of the 21 counties that make up the 4th Congressional. Our nominee must work to bring people together, and I believe I’m the best candidate to represent all of the diverse interests in District 4.
What is your top priority if elected and how will it be funded?
Voters across the district tell me that they are extremely concerned about the threat posed to our democracy by extremists like Lauren Boebert. We also see extremism from the Supreme Court stripping rights and freedoms away from women, a Congress that has proven to be the least productive in American history, and all of these concerns stem from a broken system. My priority is to bring integrity and stability back to our democracy.

Why should the voters return you to office?
I am the Trump-endorsed, America First candidate in the race and Coloradans have seen me delivering results for them in Congress. We need proven conservative fighters leading now more than ever and I have shown that I vote the exact same way I campaign. Coloradans know they’re getting a 100% conservative voting record when they cast their vote for me and I will bring that track record to the 4th District.
What is your top priority if returned to office and how will it be funded?
My recently introduced legislation, the Build The Wall & Deport Them All Act, brings back President Trump’s border policies to actually end the crisis at our Southern Border. I fight for issues important to Coloradans every day like protecting our natural resources, energy production, and supporting our ranchers and farmers, but border security should be a major priority instead of funding foreign wars.

Why should the voters elect you to office?
My mission is to selflessly solve real problems for real people. My training, knowledge, and experience of Colorado and geopolitics exceeds my opponents and allows me to find unique solutions and craft good, bipartisan legislation. I am an Afghanistan combat veteran, retired 29-year US Army Colonel, 3rd generation rancher, and 5th year Representative in the State Assembly. Nearly 80% of my proposed legislation became law despite being outnumbered 2 to 1 by Democrats.
What is your top priority if elected and how will it be funded?
My first proposed legislation will link states following the US Constitution and federal law to federal funding. State government budgets depend heavily on block grants from the US Treasury. For example, if Colorado continues to prohibit local law enforcement from working with ICE and other federal agencies thus breaking federal law, federal funds will be cut. This either reduces the federal deficit or helps solve problems, such as skyrocketing crime and illegal immigration.

Why should the voters elect you to office?
I am a seasoned legislator that understands Colorado issues and I have been immersed in them for the last four years working in the state house. We need to send folks to DC that have actually done the job of legislating for Colorado. I am a veteran, small business owner, and public servant that will work for the citizens of Colorado.
What is your top priority if elected and how will it be funded?
I will ensure that we return a responsible conduit between Colorado and DC through effective offices throughout the district. Then I will make sure we have a regular listening session for the concerns of the district. My first priorities are to work on legislation to ensure we are dealing the impacts of the open borders and fentanyl in Colorado.

Why should the voters elect you to office?
I have deep roots standing alongside my neighbors in CD4 for years as a parental rights and school choice advocate, radio host and director of public policy. I will work to end the DC drama and dysfunction, and bring new principled leadership to deliver real results for voters, secure our border and revitalize our economy. I will also work to stop the division, rebuild our party, and get our country back on track.
What is your top priority if elected and how will it be funded?
My top priority is to end the national security and humanitarian crisis occurring at our border. I will work to finish the wall, defund sanctuary policies, reform asylum guidelines, end “Catch and Release”, restore “Stay in Mexico,” and ensure border agents are able to patrol not just process. The cost would be largely offset by the elimination of sanctuary city funding and using the existing materials for the wall that the government is paying to store.

Why should the voters elect you to office?
I am the candidate that was born and raised in the district. I still live in the house that my father and I were raised in and I raised my children there as well. Our family has been farming in the district for over a hundred years. With that background and the experience and leadership skills I have developed in the legislature, I have what it takes to advocate for the people of the 4th CD. As President Pro Tem of the Colorado Senate when Republicans could stop a liberal agenda, I had built relationships and coalitions so problems could get solved whether I was serving in the minority or the majority. I will take that experience and leadership skills to do the same thing in DC.
What is your top priority if elected and how will it be funded?
My top priority will be the economy and inflation. Government needs to get out of the way of businesses so that they can grow and be successful. Federal Reserve Interest rates and government actions regarding energy costs are driving the inflation for every citizen in the county. Those expenses also drive higher transportation costs which in turn makes the everyday products we buy more expensive. Government has to get out of the way so energy companies can again make America energy independent and that will help curb the higher cost of inflation.

Why should the voters elect you to office?
As a business executive who has worked at the highest levels in corporate America, I look to bring a problem-solving background to Washington that analyzes the problem, researches all viable solutions, and most importantly implements change so that we improve the lives of the people of our district. As your next representative I will always strive to make you, the constituents, the priority so that you have personal representation and have help when needed.
What is your top priority if elected and how will it be funded?
My top priority is to assure that our country has an affordable cost of living. This will focus on identifying areas to cut unnecessary and duplicate government programs to reduce spending and cut inflation, reduce regulations on all energy sources to create affordable and reliable energy, and work on removing any restrictions on land use so that land can be developed to increase housing supply.
Editor’s note: Candidates are listed in the order they appear on ballots. Active voter registration numbers are current as of the Colorado Secretary of State’s update on June 3, 2024.
