Left-wing academics spew hatred of Jews | Colorado Springs Gazette
Mature Americans grew up with the slogan “never forget,” regarding the holocaust of Jews by the National Socialist German Workers’ Party (NAZIs) of the 20th Century.
“Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it,” wrote Spanish-American philosopher Jorge Agustín Nicolás Ruiz de Santayana y Borrás.
Much of American society has neither heard nor heeded this warning. The far left controls higher education (and K-12), so it comes as no surprise to see another anti-Semitic tirade passed around on social media as if it represents progressive enlightenment. More accurately, it reflects the left’s hatred of Judeo-Christian morality and capitalism.
Hitler accused Jews of promulgating capitalism, which he despised as a form of anti-communal greed.
“Hitler was convinced of the superiority of the Soviet planned economic system to the capitalist economic system,” writes German historian Rainer Zitelmann – a scholar, Wall Street Journal and Forbes writer and author of 27 peer-reviewed books – for the Institute of Economic Affairs.

Hitler routinely blasted capitalism, sounding exactly like the Colorado Education Association’s recent declaration that “capitalism requires exploitation of children, public schools, land, labor, and/or resources.”
Consider a recent social media post by a post-doctoral graduate student at the University of Colorado. Millions her age, along with a startling number of their instructors, agree with this ideology and share it. The post sounds like countless other examples of anti-Jew venom emanating from campuses.
The student portrays Jews as monsters. Read excerpts of her post as compared to the propaganda of the National Socialist German Workers’ Party.
CU grad student post: “On the issue of Israel as a refuge of sexual predators, there is no argument.”
This trope traces to the pro-Nazi propaganda newspaper “Der Stürmer,” established and published by former elementary school teacher Julius Streicher – a Nazi and co-founder of the German Socialist Party. This and similar propaganda tools distributed malicious articles and cartoons that branded Jews as sex predators.
CU grad student post: “On the issue of (Jews) harvesting Palestinian organs and skin, there is no argument.”
The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum calls this trope “blood libel.”
“Blood libels often took place close to Passover, when Jews were charged with using the blood of Christian children to bake matzahs,” the Holocaust Museum explains.
CU grad student post: “On the issue of the abuse, torture, and sexual assault (by Jews) of their detainees, there is no argument.”
This has no basis in fact, and no one has been more abused, tortured, and assaulted than Jews. Millions were tortured and raped before Nazis killed them in gas chambers. Today, the Gaza Strip’s Hamas government beheads and tortures them, including their infants.
“Some lost 20% of their body weight, one even resorting to eating toilet paper because food was so scarce,” explains Jewish Insider magazine.
CNN reports Jews captured by Hamas this year have been “Kept in the dark. Forced to sit in silence. Fed only meager rations. These and even more chilling scraps of information are beginning to show how hostages survived in Hamas captivity.”
Aljazeera quotes a woman whose 12-year-old nephew was beaten by Palestinian residents after his capture.
“Every time a child cried there, they threatened them with a weapon to make them be quiet,” the aunt said, as quoted by Aljazeera. “Once they got to Gaza, all the civilians, everyone was hitting them.”
On Oct. 7, much like the Third Reich, Hamas initiated brutal murders of Jewish children and other civilians. The terrorists and their supporters continue spreading hatred throughout the educational system, where young minds are susceptible to schmegegge, the Yiddish word for claptrap.
The student’s viral post – like others – symbolizes a dangerous rise in contemporary racism and anti-Western sentiment. It supports a dehumanizing, anti-Jewish, torturous, and murderous regime seeking another genocide of biblical proportions.
Let’s not forget the past, lest we repeat it.
