Free COVID-19 testing site opens for Adams, Arapahoe, Douglas counties
A new free COVID-19 community testing site opened in Bennett on Tuesday, open to all Coloradans but targeted to Adams, Arapahoe and Douglas counties.
The testing site, located at the Bennett Community Center on East Colfax Avenue, will be open every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday after Thanksgiving from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m.

The site was opened in collaboration with the town of Bennett, the Tri-County Health Department, COVIDCheck Colorado and Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment.
This is one of more than 50 free community testing sites throughout the state. Health officials urge the public to get tested if exposed to the virus or experiencing symptoms such as fever, cough, shortness of breath and body aches.
Currently, 1 in 41 Coloradans are infected with COVID-19, according to CDPHE.

Anyone tested should quarantine themselves while awaiting test results.
Even after receiving a negative result, everyone should follow public health guidelines including avoiding gatherings and wearing masks.
