The Grand Junction Daily Sentinel: The spirit of TABOR?

What would Colorado look like without the Taxpayer’s Bill of Rights? For hard-line fiscal conservatives, the answer lies west, in California, where they claim state lawmakers run roughshod over taxpayers while funding public services in the world’s sixth-largest economy.

TABOR obviously has been effective at limiting government growth, but it also starves the state in ways taxpayers never endorsed, like our capacity to provide services that help the economy grow.
