Better Colorado Now rolls out another big radio buy for Walker Stapleton
Walker Stapleton’s super fans will continue to play his greatest hit (so far) on for the radio next month, the independent expenditure committee Better Colorado Now said Wednesday evening.
Colorado Politics told you last month the well-funded super PAC is waging an on-air campaign for the state treasurer who’s running for governor.
Last month’s ad was about sanctuary cities, and the Stapleton pack does an encore on the topic in its latest ad.
The first month, Better Colorado Now dropped $70,150 and 282 spots to air across the state. Between now and April 3, it’s ponying up $73,125 to air on 45 stations in every Colorado media market.
“Colorado Republicans are coalescing around Walker Stapleton as the clear choice for safer cities and a safer Colorado,” said Andy George, the director of Better Colorado Now, in a pitch to donors, who got the first listen to the new ad.
“These ads are just the beginning, and we intend to continue to support Stapleton’s candidacy from now until the primary on June 26th.”
