Tickets to a December appearance by Hillary Clinton to promote her latest memoir, “What Happened,” at a Denver bookstore sold out within hours Tuesday.

The former first lady, U.S. senator, secretary of state and Democratic presidential nominee explores the 2016 presidential election and her surprise loss to Republican Donald Trump in the 491-page book, which also published Tuesday.

Clinton is scheduled to autograph copies of the book on Dec. 11 at the Tattered Cover on East Colfax Avenue. Not only are tickets for the book signing sold out, but the wait list is also closed, according to an Eventbrite page for the appearance.

“In the past, for reasons I try to explain, I’ve often felt I had to be careful in public, like I was up on a wire without a net,” Clinton said in advance of the book’s publication. “Now I’m letting my guard down.”

It’s Clinton’s first appearance since the November election in Colorado, where she defeated Trump by 5 points and won the state’s nine electoral votes. She won the nationwide popular vote by about 2 points and 3 million votes but lost the election to Trump in the Electoral College.

“Now free from the constraints of running, Hillary takes you inside the intense personal experience of becoming the first woman nominated for president by a major party in an election marked by rage, sexism, exhilarating highs and infuriating lows, stranger-than-fiction twists, Russian interference and an opponent who broke all the rules,” Clinton’s publisher, Simon and Schuster, said about the volume in promotional material.

She last signed books at the Tattered Cover in June 2014 when she was in town for the Clinton Global Initiative along with her husband, former President Bill Clinton, and their daughter Chelsea.
