WATCH LIVE: Riverside County police hold press conference after arrest outside Trump Coachella rally

The Riverside County Sheriff’s Office is holding a press conference at 6 p.m. Eastern time after a man with illegal guns was arrested outside former President Donald Trump‘s Coachella, California, rally on Saturday.

Vem Miller, a 49-year-old resident of Las Vegas, was found to be in possession of multiple guns and a high-capacity magazine and was arrested. He was later released on a $5,000 bail.

Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco said Miller also possessed fake VIP and press badges.

“We probably stopped another assassination attempt,” Bianco said.
