Failed break-in attempt at Base Camp Cyclery in Denver
This surveillance video taken in the 2 a.m. hour on Nov. 19, 2019, shows a 16-foot, banana-yellow moving truck circling Base Camp Cyclery at 18th and South Pearl in Denver. A suspect hopped out of the truck to check out the bicycles inside, jumps back in and backs up once, and then gains steam to ram the front of the store. But at ten feet high, the truck is too tall to get past an awning attached to the store front. Alarms go off, and the truck bolts off to its next prey: a bike store in Highlands Ranch. (Submitted)
