Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Glenn Beck move to new Denver radio station
Freedom 93.7, the newest radio station on the Denver radio dial, has been launched by iHeartMedia Denver as the new Denver home for some of the nation’s most popular conservative talkers.
The station is the new Denver home of Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Glenn Beck, Buck Sexton and others.
“Freedom 93.7 is built upon Freedom of Speech, and reflects Colorado’s true conservative values,” an iHeartMedia announcement says.
Freedom 93.7 simulcasts on 93.7 FM and 760 AM in the Denver metro area and on the iHeartRadio app.
Limbaugh will continue to air on its longtime home, 850 KOA, until Sept. 3. Sean Hannity and Glenn Beck will air on 630 KHOW through August.
iHeartMedia Denver said new programming for KOA and KHOW, which it also owns, will be announced in the coming weeks.
760 AM had been home to a Denver Broncos-focused sports format, “Orange and Blue 760,” All Access reports.
And Lakewood-based 93.7 FM, which iHeartMedia bought from Hunt Broadcasting for $1.8 million, had been carrying a rock “classic hits” format dubbed “The Rock.”
