Aaron Harber rolls out TV talk with Colorado candidates

DENVER – If they can’t make to a rally, Coloradans can see and hear candidates for statewide office as veteran public affairs host Aaron Harber sits down for an hour to question them on the issues.

“The Aaron Harber Show” airs across the state over the airwaves, on cable and online, with a new episode each Sunday.

Harber tells Colorado Politics the hour-long format, in two 30-minute segments. gives candidates the opportunity to dig into the issues and Colorado voters the chance to assess the more detailed answers.

“This means, rather than the typical sound bite or otherwise short segments in which most candidates appear, voters have the chance to see half- and one-hour programs where candidates discuss the issues in-depth,” he said.

Already Harber has posted and aired videos with the Democratic candidates for attorney general and secretary of state.

Sunday the show posted Harber’s interview with half the Republican field for state treasurer: Justin Everett, Polly Lawrence and Brian Watson.

The updated schedule of candidate interviews between now and the primary is:

Harber notes that the schedule is tentative based on who’s still in or out of the race after the April 14 state assemblies.

Harber said he has also recorded programs with Jeff Hays, chair of the state Republican Party, and Morgan Carroll, who leads the state Democratic Party.

New segment airs each Sunday at 11 a.m. followed by a second segment at 11:30 a.m., as well as at 8 and 8:30 p.m., on KCDO-TV Channel 3 via antenna, as well as on Comcast cable and the satellite services DirecTV and DISH.
