President Donald Trump says “hoax” but even his national security adviser concedes there is “incontrovertible” evidence of a Russian plot to disrupt the 2016 U.S. election.

U.S. intelligence agencies have long said so, but 13 Russians have now been criminally charged with meddling in the presidential vote. The federal indictment, brought last week by special counsel Robert Mueller, provides the most detailed allegations to date about the elaborate conspiracy to swing the election in Trump’s favor.
