The Grand Junction Daily Sentinel: On guard against
 normalizing crudity

Never in our wildest journalism-school dreams would we have imagined having to decide whether to print the word “shithole” in a news story because the president of the United States used it to describe certain foreign countries.

For that matter, we never imagined having to debate the use of “pussy,” which still makes us cringe even as we type it, because the most powerful man in the world blithely said that his celebrity status allowed him to grab women by that body part whenever he wanted.
