Vice President Mike Pence to appear at Colorado Republican Party fundraiser

Vice President Mike Pence is set to headline a fundraiser for the Colorado Republican Party, GOP chairman Jeff Hays announced Wednesday.

The dinner is scheduled for Oct. 26 at the Denver Marriott Tech Center in Greenwood Village. Tickets range in price from $275 to $10,000, with admission to a VIP reception for $1,500.

Pence, the former governor of Indiana, last appeared in the state in June, when he spoke at an event celebrating the 40th anniversary of Focus on the Family, a conservative Christian ministry headquarters in Colorado Springs. Protesters clad in outfits inspired by the novel “The Handmaid’s Tale” greeted him.
