When business meets politics: Chamber schedules its #coleg preview
Colorado legislative leaders will talk business at a breakfast in Denver less than a week before the session begins next month.
The Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce and Colorado Competitive Council, along with the Denver Business Journal, will put on the fourth annual Business Legislative Preview at the Hyatt Regency at the Colorado Convention Center Jan. 5.
Tickets are $85 each and available online.
Networking begins at 7 a.m followed by the program at 7:30. House Speaker Crisanta Duran of Denver, House Republican leader Patrick Neville of Castle Rock, Senate President Kevin Grantham of Cañon City and Senate Democratic leader Lucia Guzman of Denver will discuss business issues with Ed Sealover, capitol reporter for the Denver Business Journal.
Kelly Brough, president and CEO of the Denver Metro Chamber, will outline the organization’s priorities, topped by funding transportation and addressing construction defects.
