Nominations open for National Philanthropy Day awards | NONPROFIT REGISTER

ASSOCIATION OF FUNDRAISING PROFESSIONALS

News: Nominations for the 2025 National Philanthropy Day in Colorado awards will be accepted until 5 p.m. on July 15 by the Colorado chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals.

A panel of community leaders and industry professionals will determine the winners in the 13 categories, and the awards will be presented at a luncheon on Nov. 6.

The award categories are:

• Lifetime Achievement

• Outstanding Large Business

• Outstanding Small Business

• Outstanding Foundation

• Outstanding Philanthropist

• Outstanding Professional Fundraiser

• Outstanding Professional Grantmaker

• Outstanding Service Organization

• Outstanding Volunteer

• Outstanding Volunteer Fundraiser

• Inspiration Award

• Outstanding Youth

• Outstanding Youth Group

About the organization: Colorado chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals started in the late 1970s and was then known as the Colorado Association of Fund Raisers. The chapter serves as the umbrella organization for all fund development professionals and supports the community as the expert on philanthropic giving. It currently has over 300 members.
