Ukraine: Living with War

The Ukrainian people try to go about their lives as the second anniversary of Russia’s invasion approaches. The Russian army invaded Ukraine again Feb. 24, 2022.

Halyna Ladyga, 35, mother of twin 8-year-old boys, was returning with her husband from Costa Rica when she found out the war with Russia had started. “I have a feeling that my future was stolen,” Ladyga said. “I was a business woman who earned good money.
