Caldara’s diagnosis of Colorado GOP divide spot-on | FEEDBACK

I just read Jon Caldara’s assessment about the Republican Party stirring division within itself and alienating voters. I have to say, the assessment was spot-on. As a bystander who is somewhat involved in my local Douglas County politics, the division and dissension within the party is astounding. What is going on? A house divided against itself cannot stand. The RINO watch is particularly disturbing. It’s like doxxing our own party members if they make a single misstep.

I’m just wondering if Jon sees any solution to this problem going forward. These Republican “purity tests” are asinine and only stir resentment and discord. They definitely don’t help the party win elections.

Getting any Republican elected is still vastly superior to letting the Democrats trounce the GOP yet again due to the lack of leadership and growing divide within the GOP party. How do Republicans not realize this?

I just wanted to say thank you to Jon for his article and for his articulate way of summarizing what so many Republicans see going on but have trouble putting into words. If he sees a way out of this hole we’ve dug for ourselves, I’d love to hear his thoughts.
