9NEWS RAW INTERVIEW: Jamie Giellis on racial gaffes, deleting social media accounts
Kyle caught up with Denver mayoral candidate Jamie Giellis after a series of racial gaffes that got attention on Wednesday. It began when she couldn’t come up with what “NAACP” stood for, then tweeting and deleting a promotion of a tacos and lowriders fundraiser. The day ended with a tweet that resurfaced from 2009. In it she asked, “Why do so many cities feel it necessary to have a ‘Chinatown’?” Kyle interviewed Giellis at the fundraiser.
