The Pueblo Chieftain editorial: CSU-Pueblo’s new president

Colorado State University-Pueblo soon will be led by a new president.

Last week, Timothy Mottet was introduced as the school’s 15th president. The provost at Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville, Mo., was selected by the CSU System Board of Governors, and signed to a five-year contract.

Mottet will replace Lesley Di Mare, who will retire as president June 30.

“From philanthropy to all the aspects of the academy, we believe that Tim Mottet has the ability to build on the great foundation that President Di Mare has helped to establish at this university, and that he will take Colorado State University-Pueblo to new levels,” CSU System Chancellor Tony Frank said.
