Tim Kaine, Dave Matthews hold rally and concert in Denver
Following a rough and tumble debate between Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton and her Republican challenger Donald Trump last night, Clinton’s running-mate Tim Kaine along with singer-songwriter Dave Matthews are campaigning together in Colorado Monday.
The two plan to host a combination rally and concert at the National Western Complex at 1:30 p.m. The event is aimed at getting supporters registered to vote.
“Colorado has the highest percentage of registered voters of any state in the country and with more people voting in this election than any in history, Senator Kaine and Matthews will urge Colorado voters to visit iwillvote.com to check their registration status,” the Clinton campaign said in a statement.
Kaine is on a campaign swing through western states. He was in Henderson, Nevada, for a campaign event on Friday, following events in Las Vegas Thursday. Saturday he attended a high-dollar fundraiser with the Democratic ticket in Los Angeles, California.
