Trump announces 11 am flag raising as world awaits possible US military action in Iran

President Donald Trump is putting up new flag poles around the White House grounds as the world awaits any U.S. military action in the Iran-Israel conflict.

Trump said he will raise the flags at 11 a.m. Eastern on Wednesday.

“It is my Great Honor to announce that I will be putting up two beautiful Flag Poles on both sides of the White House, North and South Lawns,” he said in a Truth Social post. “It is a GIFT from me of something which was always missing from this magnificent place. The digging and placement of the poles will begin at 7:30 A.M. EST, tomorrow morning. Flags will be raised at approximately 11 A.M. EST.”

He added that the flag poles are “the most magnificent poles made.”

“These are the most magnificent poles made — They are tall, tapered, rust proof, rope inside the pole, and of the highest quality. Hopefully, they will proudly stand at both sides of the White House for many years to come!” he concluded.

The Iran-Israel conflict, which Trump addressed multiple times on Tuesday, is top of mind for most political observers. Trump called for Iran’s “UNCONDITIONAL SURRENDER” earlier in the day and said the United States knew where Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei is hiding. He said the United States would not kill him “for now” before saying Iran should avoid attacking Americans.

Trump has said repeatedly that Iran should’ve taken the nuclear deal that the U.S. offered to the country to avert the conflict, bordering on war, with Israel. Trump chastised French President Emmanuel Macron on Tuesday morning, who said Trump is seeking a ceasefire between Israel and Iran.

“I have not reached out to Iran for ‘Peace Talks’ in any way, shape, or form,” Trump said later Tuesday. “This is just more HIGHLY FABRICATED, FAKE NEWS! If they want to talk, they know how to reach me. They should have taken the deal that was on the table — Would have saved a lot of lives!!!”

ONE BIG, BEAUTIFUL BENEFIT FOR EVERYONE

It remains unclear how much the U.S. will involve itself in the hostilities.

Trump caused confusion earlier Tuesday when he said “we” have control over the skies of Tehran, with the White House declining to clarify if the president was referring directly to the U.S. or simply Israel using U.S. equipment.
