Coronavirus in Colorado: The latest numbers

There are now 27,170,945 coronavirus cases in the U.S. and 467,312 deaths, according to Johns Hopkins University.

The latest COVID-19 numbers in Colorado (Updated on Feb. 9):

– 407,210 cases, including 56,997 in Denver County

– 2,462,310 people tested

– The number of deaths directly caused by COVID is 5,537 while the number of deaths among patients who had COVID at their time of death, including those who died of other causes, is 5,746. That number includes 745 deaths in Denver County 

– 1.41% fatality rate in the state

– At least 924 active outbreaks
