Coronavirus in Colorado: The latest numbers

There are now 26,663,251 coronavirus cases in the U.S. and 455,259 deaths, according to Johns Hopkins University.

The latest COVID-19 numbers in Colorado (Updated on Feb. 4):

– 400,851 cases, including 56,202 in Denver County

– 2,427,143 people tested

– The number of deaths directly caused by COVID is 5,431 while the number of deaths among patients who had COVID at their time of death, including those who died of other causes, is 5,677. That number includes 740 deaths in Denver County 

– 1.42% fatality rate in the state

– At least 924 active outbreaks
