Adams County launches app for local COVID-19 updates, resources
Adams County launched the COVID View mobile app on Thursday, providing residents with a place to view local updates regarding the COVID-19 pandemic.
The app shows current COVID-19 statistics, public health restrictions and nearby testing locations.
It also displays the location and status of COVID-19 outbreaks in the county, defined as when there are two or more active cases from one place.

“This app will inform our residents of outbreaks in the community so they can plan accordingly to keep their loved ones safe,” said Raymond Gonzales, Adams County manager.
The app also includes Tri-County Health Department updates and resources, instructions for how to add a phone to the state’s COVID-19 contact tracing program and Adams County restaurant curbside and takeout options.
Local restaurants can be added to the list through the app or at adamscountycovid19.org.

Residents who download the app will receive periodic text messages with important COVID-19 updates such as case statistics, the county dial level and new public health orders.
New features and resources will be added as the app is updated.
The app is available for mobile download now in the Apple App Store or on Google Play by searching COVID View, COVIDVIEW or AdCoGov.
