The Grand Junction Daily Sentinel: Remembering 9/11

In the immediate aftermath of the attacks that killed nearly 3,000 people, we were a nation united. On the evening of the attacks, some 150 members of both Congressional parties joined hands singing “God Bless America” on the steps of the Capitol.
