A majority of Colorado voters aren’t sure who they’ll vote for in November when it comes to the gubernatorial race, a survey commissioned by Save the Children Action Network recently found.

Sixty-two percent of Republican primary voters haven’t yet made up their mind, and nearly as many of Democrats – 52% – haven’t either, according to the survey, the results of which were released this week.

Colorado gubernatorial candidates U.S. Rep. Jared Polis and former state treasurer Cary Kennedy are neck and neck among the state’s Democratic voters, each with 18 percent of the vote, the survey found. Other Democratic candidates trail far behind.

Among Republican gubernatorial contenders, Stapleton leads with 15 percent of the vote, according to the survey. Coffman came in second, with 7 percent, and other candidates trail far behind.

The survey was jointly compiled by a Democratic and a Republican firm, according to a spokesperson for the Washington, D.C.-based organization, the political advocacy arm of Save the Children.
