Tom Tancredo waves a white flag at Jared Polis and thumbs his own party in the eye
No sooner had Colorado Politics’s Ernest Luning broken the news that Republican frontrunner Tom Tancredo was dropping out of the Colorado governor’s race, citing insufficient fund-raising, than the ever outspoken ex-congressman was speaking out once again – this time, against the state GOP.
And a gleeful Colorado Democratic Party was of course standing at the ready to share media accounts of Tancredo’s unflattering utterances about one of the remaining GOP candidates as well as the party’s dismal election prospects in general. State Democratic spokesman Eric Walker blasted out a mass-email recapping the jabs:
