Give to United Way

United Way of Pueblo County is looking for another banner year, setting a fundraising goal of $1,075,000, which is $10,000 higher than in 2016. United Way anticipates achieving the goal to make it the eighth straight million-dollar campaign and 15th consecutive increase.

“The beauty of giving to United Way is that many people giving what they can in a united force of compassion and generosity will definitely create hope and a healthy community for all of us,” said Mike Baxter, president and chief executive officer of Parkview Medical Center, who is serving as this year’s fundraising campaign chairman.

In setting a lofty goal, United Way received a welcome shot in the arm courtesy of $87,000 in matching funds, led by $40,000 from Pueblo PCAPP (Chemical Depot) Partners and $15,000 from both the David and Lucile Packard Foundation and Temple Buell Foundation.
