Editorial: Sands project requires vision, resident support

The issue: The Brush Chamber of Commerce Foundation has accepted ownership of the Sands Theater from Joe Machetta.

We say: It will take a concerted community contribution of finances, ideas and effort to see the Sands Theater through to its future.

Pen was put to paper last week to make it official.

Joe Machetta gifted his jewel of the Sands Theater to the Brush Chamber of Commerce Foundation. That might just end up being the easy part. The group now is faced with surely 100 questions as to how to proceed, and how to fund that course.
