Letter: Leonard ‘dust-up’ evidence of media bias?

Editor:
Does anyone think that Rep. Tim Leonard’s travails have anything to do with the education of his children?
Does a dust-up over iPad usage warrant 14 days in the slammer?
If Leonard had told the child to ‘turn of the TV while doing homework’, could that have escalated into a term in Super-Max or Guantanamo?
Should a concerned father have an equal say in the education of his children? In Victorian England, the father was mandated responsible for the up-bringing of the children, should a marriage go-on-the-rocks.
By whose authority was his wife given sole-determination on educational matters? Was Tim in agreement?
Did Leonard have any chance at all for justice when appearing before a so-called ‘magistrate’, who is part of the extra-judicial (executive branch) court system which plagues our state, and is not bound by the limits of our constitution(s)?
Would this matter have been better resolved before the ‘Arbitration’ system, for which Jeffco is well equipped?
Or is the glee which the media and (Democratic) House leadership are exhibiting in ‘piling-on’ Tim, but an indication of yet another attempt to take down a loving father, a concerned (Republican) legislator, and an opponent of the union dominated ‘educational-establishment?’
