Letter: Bruce has a friend in governor

Editor:

Now that Douglas Bruce is out of the slammer, he needs to find new friends. He’s found at least one, our own beloved Gov. John Hickenlooper. At risk of making new enemies (lots of them), Hick has come to the rescue of Bruce by joining him in defense of the TABOR amendment.TABOR has prevented the Legislature from raising the state’s gas tax for the past 22 years, much to the dismay of those stuck in traffic on I-25 and I-70. Not to worry, Colorado, because Hick is behind selling off (or giving away) the whole highway system to foreign-owned corporations, including Isolux Corsán of Madrid, Spain, that wants to build a highway over the remains of the atomic bomb factory at Rocky Flats. Stay tuned, more to come.
