‘The Walrus’ to play in VOA’s Legends Golf Tournament | NONPROFIT REGISTER

News: 1982 Masters champion Craig “The Walrus” Stadler will be the special guest at the 2025 VOA Colorado Legends Golf Tournament.
Tickets are now on sale for the Sept. 10 event to be held at Sanctuary Golf Course, 7549 Daniels Park Road, Sedalia. The cost is $6,000 per foursome.

Festivities begin with registration at 9 a.m., followed by brunch with Stadler at 10 o’clock. Team photos will be taken at 11 a.m., preceding the 11:30 a.m. shotgun start. The fundraiser concludes with dinner, drinks and tournament prizes.
Proceeds will go to the VOA’s Bill Daniels Veterans Service Center and other supportive services throughout the state.
Stadler, an Evergreen resident, has won 31 professional tournaments, including the 1982 Masters. His first win was the 1973 U.S. Amateur, when he was a student at the University of Southern California. He turned pro in 1976, going on to rack up 13 PGA Tour wins and other prestigious tournaments in the United States, Europe and Japan.
His oldest son, Kevin, also a professional golfer, won the 2002 Colorado Open with Craig serving as his caddy.
