The price of gas is a crucial topic heading into next month’s presidential election. With President Joe Biden deciding not to seek reelection, Vice President Kamala Harris, now the Democratic presidential nominee, has to indicate how she will address the country’s gas prices and energy costs and how both affect the economy and people’s finances. Gas prices remain higher than when former President Donald Trump was in office.
