WATCH LIVE: Harris and Biden deliver remarks in Maryland

President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris are scheduled to deliver remarks at 1:30 p.m. in Largo, Maryland.

The in-person remarks come after the Biden administration announced historic price negotiations between Medicare and pharmaceutical companies cutting the prices of 10 costly or common medications taken by millions of older people.

While it is not an official Harris campaign event, it is the first time that Biden has been on a joint trip with the vice president together since he exited the presidential race.

The Harris campaign announced earlier that Biden would be deployed “strategically” to states he won in 2020 and to campaign stops with voting demographics he does well with, such as older voters.
