“The Town of Monument and former Town Manager Mike Foreman agreed on July 31st to his departure from the Town. Foreman, who has been with the town since 2019, was placed on paid administrative leave on June 12. In a statement sent out shortly after by Monument, the city said the decision was made after “careful consideration and consultation with legal counsel” and with “the best interests of our community in mind.”

According to previous Gazette reporting, Foreman came to Monument after being terminated from the town manager position in Craig for undisclosed personnel issues in 2018. Before that he was the town manager in Celina, Texas.
