COLORADO VETERANS CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
Denver
News: The Colorado Veterans Chamber of Commerce is up and running, following a late February launch event held at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1, 841 Santa Fe Dr., Denver.
It is the first chamber organization in the state to focus on supporting, empowering, and fostering the growth of veteran-owned businesses, and their employees.
Members of the Colorado Veterans Project were instrumental in the chamber’s formation and several members of its board were on hand for the launch event.
They included West Point grad and former Army officer Brandy Maranian; retired Marine Corps officer Matthew Hays; Dan Arkulary, a former Marine and wildland firefighter who is now a vice president with PNC Bank; Bobbi Mastalka, who serves as operations coordinator for the Colorado Veterans Project; and Matt Cornett, who served with the U.S. Army in Iraq and has spent the past decade working with local agencies and nonprofit organizations on behalf of veterans seeking to establish and grow professional careers after their military service.
About the organization: The Colorado Veterans Chamber of Commerce offers comprehensive services and resources to foster business growth, community connections and professional development for veteran members and their businesses throughout the state.
