Guard and Grace anniversary bash to benefit a most worthy cause | NONPROFIT REGISTER

News: Troy Guard is celebrating the 10th anniversary of his Guard and Grace restaurant by staging a deluxe cocktails-and-small bites soiree on April 17, with proceeds going to Roundup River Ranch.

Guard has enlisted 15 of his Denver chef pals to create small bites for the $100-a-ticket event. Guest bartenders also will be on hand to supply the craft cocktails that will be served alongside the taste treats made by a group that includes Alex Seidel of Mercantile Provisions; Lon Symensma of ChoLon Restaurant Concepts; Jennifer Jasinski from the Crafted Concepts restaurants, and Keegan Gerhard of D Bar.

“We are honored to collaborate with chef Troy Guard and the TAG Restaurant Group to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of Guard and Grace,” said Christopher Pierce, Roundup Ranch’s Denver philanthropy director. “This exceptional team is not only our valued community partner, but also a source of unwavering support as we continue to champion our mission of supporting children with serious medical conditions.”

TAG Restaurant Group, which was founded by Guard, operates four restaurants – Los Chingones, Guard and Grace, Bubu and HashTAG – in 10 locations in the Denver metro area and Houston. Guard and Grace, 1801 California St. in downtown Denver, is named for its founder and his daughter, Grace.

“When we opened the doors at Guard and Grace 10 years ago, we had big dreams,” Guard said. “However, I could never have imagined the incredible success, awards and recognition we’ve received since then.” They include inclusion in the Michelin Guide, AAA Four Diamond ranking and Yelp’s Top 100 U.S. Restaurants.

Pre-paid reservations for the 5 p.m. event can be made through Open Table.
