A PRECIOUS CHILD
Broomfield
News: Donations of gently used winter clothing are now being accepted at the six metro-area Tide Cleaners locations. The items will be given to the Broomfield-based A Precious Child for distribution to the children and families it serves.
The need is critical.
Last year, A Precious Child provided services to 600-plus families in November and December alone. An even greater number will receive warm coats, hats scarves and other winter weather gear this year.
“We are thrilled to be partnering with A Precious Child again,” said Brandt Stravio, chief operating officer of Tide Cleaners franchise Edit Clean, LLC. “A Precious Child is a fantastic organization, and we are grateful to be working together to help out so many kids once more.”
As a thank you, donors will also receive a 20% discount on any cleaning they drop off at the same time.
Donation bins will be available through Dec. 31 at the following Tide Cleaners locations:
3571 S. Tower Road, Aurora; 9200 E. Hampden Ave., Denver; 8008 E. Arapahoe Road, Centennial; 4500 W. 38th Ave., Denver; 1750 Wewatta St., Denver; and 201 University Blvd., Denver.
About the organization: A Precious Child serves up to 40 families per day at their Empowerment Resource Center, 7051 W. 118th Ave., Broomfield. Hundreds more children are provided with items they so desperately need through A Precious Child’s 50 satellite resource centers and through the distribution of goods and services to 300-plus agency partners across the greater Denver area.
