A Catholic bishop in California is asking fellow Catholics across the country to send House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, a California Democrat, roses until she changes her stance on abortion.

San Francisco Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone is seeking to flood Pelosi’s office with thousands of roses in an attempt to get the speaker to change her pro-abortion rights stance.

Working with the Benedict XVI Institute, Cordileone helped arrange the delivery of at least 7,700 roses to Pelosi’s Washington, D.C., office on Sunday.

The gesture was in recognition of the feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe, patroness of America and the unborn, according to a report.

At least 100 roses will be sent to the speaker’s office every day Pelosi praises her Catholic faith while remaining unapologetically in favor of abortion rights.

The roses were initially sent to the speaker’s office in San Francisco starting in October.

Each rose symbolizes a Catholic who signed a petition and pledged to pray the rosary every week and fast on Fridays so that Pelosi may receive a “conversion of heart.”

“I would hope that, through her, all of America will recognize that the right response to a crisis pregnancy is not violence but love – surrounding her with love and support of every kind, so that she can bring her baby to see the light of day,” Cordileone said.
