Timed entry permits set to end at Rocky Mountain National Park
Timed entry permits will soon no longer be required to enter Rocky Mountain National Park.
When the pandemic hit, Rocky Mountain National Park shut down for nearly 70 days. Though the park reopened on May 27, they started to require reservations on June 4. Come Tuesday, October 13, this will no longer be the case.
Entrance passes will still be required to enter the park.
According to a report from SkyHi News, Rocky Mountain National Park traffic as dipped significantly this year, seeing 25 percent fewer visitors in July 2020 compared to the nearly one million guests that visited the park during the same month of the previous year.
