Polis’ behavioral health task force to hold public input teleconference
Coloradans struggling through the state’s mental-health-care system are encouraged to tell their stories Wednesday.
The Colorado Behavioral Health Task Force will be hosting a “testimony day” Aug. 28 from 5-8 p.m, where members of the public can share their stories with committee members involved in the effort.
The task force was created by Gov. Jared Polis in April to address ongoing behavioral healthcare gaps in the state. The task force plans on seeking public input during testimony days before providing recommendations for improvements in Colorado’s behavioral healthcare system in July 2020.
Those interested can join the video conference here or the phone conference by dialing 303-663-7700.
More information can be found on the task force’s website.
