How to watch this week’s Democratic presidential debates

The second round of Democratic presidential debates kicks off tonight in Detroit, when 20 White House hopefuls – including the two Coloradans in the race, former Gov. John Hickenlooper and U.S. Sen. Michael Bennet – take the stage across two nights.

The CNN-sponsored debates, featuring 10 candidates on Tuesday and another 10 candidates on Wednesday, could be the last chance some of them will get to give their polling and fundraising numbers a jolt in order to make it to the next round in September, when stricter requirements to participate kick in.

Hickenlooper will be debating Tuesday night, alongside progressive U.S. Sens. Bernie Sanders of Vermont and Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts, giving the former brewpub owner a chance to challenge their tilt toward policies Republican are branding as socialist.

Bennet joins the fray on Wednesday night, when former Vice President Joe Biden and U.S. Sen. Kamala Harris of California take center-stage.

Also debating Tuesday will be Gov. Steve Bullock of Montana; South Bend, Indiana Mayor Pete Buttigieg; former U.S. Rep. John Delaney of Maryland; U.S. Sen. Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota; former U.S. Rep. Beto O’Rourke of Texas; U.S. Rep. Tim Ryan of Ohio; and spiritual leader Marianne Williamson.

The line-up Wednesday night also includes U.S. Sen. Cory Booker of New Jersey; former Housing and Urban Development Secretary Julian Castro; New York Mayor Bill de Blasio; U.S. Rep. Tusli Gabbard of Hawaii; U.S. Sen. Kristen Gillibrand of New York; Washington Gov. Jay Inslee; and entrepreneur Andrew Yang.

The debates will be moderated by CNN correspondents Dana Bash, Don Lemon and Jake Tapper. Both night’s debates start at 6 p.m. MT and are expected to run until about 8:30 p.m. MT. The debates will be broadcast live on CNN, CNN en Español and CNN International, as well as live-streamed on YouTube.

Viewers can also watch the debates live on CNN.com’s homepage and via CNN apps on mobile devices, as well as CNN apps on most smart TVs and streaming devices.
