The Grand Junction Daily Sentinel: Striking a balance

The Daily Sentinel historically has been leery of infringements to the right of gun ownership.

As often as we defend the First Amendment as the bedrock of the Bill of Rights, it would be inconsistent for us to advocate chipping away at the amendment that follows it.
