Englewood spending $15,000 on a special recall election

Next week, voters in the south Denver suburb will get a special-election recall ballot in the mail.
Councilwoman Laurett Barrentine is facing a recall effort from a group that collected signatures to get the issue on a special election ballot.
They accuse her of being a bully, obstructionist and unprofessional – accusations that she denies.
“Nobody should be recalled for doing their job,” said Barrentine.
