Senate Finance Committee, 1:30 p.m., SCR 357
Senate Bill 146, to require that free-standing emergency rooms provide notice of the health insurance plans in which that emergency room is a participating provider, and which insurance plans the ER is not enrolled in; prices on the 25 most common health care services it provides and whether the facility accepts Medicaid, Medicare, the Children’s Basic Health Plan (CHIP) and TRICARE (for vets).

House Bill 1041, adding police horses to the crime of cruelty to a service animal or certified police dog.

Sunset hearing for the Colorado Division of Civil Rights and Colorado Commission on Civil Rights, for action only (this will determine whether the committee intends to recommend a bill to extend the agency; the bill comes next.)

Senate Bill 148, extending benefits to families of state employees killed in the line of duty.

House Bill 1074, extends the right to use deadly force against an intruder at a business.
House Bill 1015, repeal the 2013 law limiting the size of ammunition magazines.

House Bill 1018, to require commercial trucking training to include information on human trafficking.

House Bill 1082, requires a pregnant woman seeking an abortion to undergo an ultrasound, and the right to see it, or not, at least 24 hours before the abortion.
