The Pueblo Chieftain: Sexual misconduct and due process

The tsunami of sexual misconduct allegations that has been sweeping the country over the last few months finally has reached Southern Colorado.

Last week, a Denver legislator went public with accusations that State Sen. Larry Crowder, R-Alamosa, sexually harassed her on two different occasions. At least three other Colorado legislators have been blamed for sexual misconduct in recent months.

To be clear, sexual harassment and sexual abuse are completely unacceptable. The accused should be disciplined appropriately, if they are found guilty of sexually harassing or abusing anyone.
