The Pueblo Chieftain: New year, new hope for D60

It’s the start of a new year, a time when many of us make resolutions aimed at self-improvement. That seems to be the case for Pueblo City Schools (D60) as well.

The school district recently launched a strategic planning process, with a goal of producing a five-year operating plan. The district hired a consultant, Epic Impact Education Group of Ohio, to oversee a process that’s expected to take several months.

That process will include gathering input from educators, district staff, students, families and other community stakeholders through surveys, focus groups and meetings. The result, one of the consultants promised, will be a new and improved D60.
