Marijuana church reverend will run for Weld County commissioner in 2018

The reverend of a marijuana-based church will run for Weld County commissioner.

Brandon Baker, 39, will campaign as a Republican for the at-large county commissioner seat up for election in November and could face off against current at-large commissioner Steve Moreno, also a Republican, in the June primary.

Baker has cited partisan rhetoric and a continuation of the same complaints as his reason for entering the race.
