The Denver Post editorial: Trump’s actions will increase emissions. Is that really what we want?

We’re amazed President Donald Trump can sleep at night.

His decision to roll back his predecessor’s Clean Power Plan is striking in both what it signals for the future of emissions in the United States, but also the likelihood it will erode efforts across the globe to clean up our atmosphere.

For even the biggest deniers of the scientific community’s findings that humans are causing the alarmingly rapid warming trend on Earth, that’s a weighty decision.

Trump’s executive order directed the Environmental Protection Agency to stop implementing the Clean Power Plan.
